Administration and Operations
Work with our administration and operations teams to coordinate, plan and direct services that support the day-to-day running of the agency.
Clinical and Lab
Our clinical and lab staff provide data to health care providers and researchers or provide direct clinical services to help support and protect the health of New Yorkers. The agency offers services through our Sexual Health Clinics, Tuberculosis Chest Centers and an Immunization Clinic. Established in 1892, our Public Health Laboratory performs testing on more than 200,000 specimens each year.
Community Engagement and Equity
Our community engagement and equity team members establish partnerships with communities in NYC. Through ongoing dialogue, the Health Department tailors services and programs that address the priorities of local communities.
Work with the Department’s leadership in the planning and execution of agency strategies that promote public health.
Work on budget and revenue for the agency’s finance department.
Food Safety and Community Sanitation
Work with our food safety and sanitation team to protect the public from various health hazards in places of businesses and public spaces.
Work with our information technology team to create, process, store, secure and exchange electronic data and develop new applications designed to help New Yorkers live healthier lives.
