All owners of accessible medallions must hack-up a Commission-approved accessible vehicle. For a list of wheelchair accessible dealers, please see the TLC website. As an accessible taxicab medallion owner, you are responsible for making sure that every accessible vehicle driver has a certificate of completion from a Commission-approved training course in passenger assistance techniques and sensitivity training. You must pay for this training. Please see Chapter 54 for more detailed information on the training requirements.
