This document is the culmination of a creative exercise and contains recommendations that have not been endorsed by the TLC, but rather will serve as the foundation of discussions and explorations to come.

CURRENT LICENSEES

Lists of Current TLC Licensees

TLC licensees that are current and allowed to provide service are listed below. The data in the files listed below was last updated on 11/20/2009and does not reflect any changes in license status since the prior business day.

A licensee cannot provide service unless BOTH the TLC license and DMV license (for drivers) and the DMV registration (for vehicles) is in good standing. For  New York State (NYS) licensed drivers and NYS registered vehicles, you may confirm that the DMV license/registration is neither suspended nor revoked by reviewing the list on Check your NYS DMV Status; any licensee on these lists cannot provide service.

The status of a License NOT on the list below can be verified via TLC Licensee Link system  (a separate system that is not connected with these lists below) or 212 227 6324. A licensee is only eligible to provide service if they verify their license status. The purpose of these lists is to offer general information to our licensees about their own license status, and that of their affiliates, and to ensure that only current licensees are providing service. Use of a not current license or dispatch of a not current licensee is a serious violation of TLC Rules.
