Workforce1 Veterans Employment Initiative
Workforce1 is committed to doing more to help New York City veterans land jobs that meet their needs and those of their families, as well as utilize the valuable skill sets acquired during military service.

In July of 2012, Workforce1 will open the doors to a dedicated Workforce1 Veterans Career Center, staffed by local veterans.  In addition to priority of service (offered at all of our centers), the new Center will offer veterans and their spouses:

• Customized assessment
• Job readiness and professional development workshops tailored to veteran needs
• Assistance in accessing education, training, and other veteran benefits
• Referrals to veteran-serving organizations for additional supportive services
• Regular follow-up from Workforce1
