The Business Solution Technology Department is seeking a Maximo Developer to work as part of its post-production support team to assist in the support and enhancement of the Maximo (Work Order Management) System. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

1. Assist in the resolution of application, interface, workflow, reporting and data integrity issues.
2. Participate in release migration, performance testing and tuning, upgrade and patch installation and testing;
3. Assist in development of plans for improving stability and supportability of the existing package and custom applications.
4. Participate in production support to analyze day-to-day issues and respond quickly to problems, minimizing the business impact.
5. Assist in the support and enhancement of integration components between applications, including custom Java applications and PL/SQL.

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, including or supplemented by 24 semester credits in computer science or a related computer field and two years of satisfactory full-time computer software experience in computer systems development and analysis, applications programming, database administration, systems programming, data communication, including one year in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project; or
2. A four year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and six years of satisfactory full-time computer software experience as described in “1” above, including one year in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project; or
3. Education and/or experience equivalent to “1”or”2” above. College education may be substituted for up to two years of the required experience in “2” above on the basis that 60 semester credits from an accredited college is equated to one year of experience. A masters degree in computer science or a related computer field may be substituted for one year of required experience in “1” or “2” above. However, all candidates must have at least a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and at least one year of satisfactory full-time experience in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project.

1. Minimum three years experience designing and implementing solutions in the IBM Maximo product, at Version 6 or higher.
2. Proven experience developing and supporting software solutions in Oracle PL/SQL or a comparable relational database platform.

Configuration and support experience using WebSphere or WebLogic is a plus.

1. Functional knowledge of Maximo, including Maximo Application Designer, Maximo schemas/tables/ relationships and Maximo Workflow Designer.
2. Skilled with JAVA development in Maximo with a knowledge of JAVA class file structure.
3. Ability to produce technical designs and/or code for JAVA extensions; write Maximo custom classes (not just Java classes); support and create Maximo Actuate reports.
