Pre-Kindergarten Transportation
The New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT) administers the Pre-K Student Transportation Program in coordination with the New York City Board of Education and the New York City Department of Health. NYCDOT contracts with private vendors to provide transportation services for children from birth to five years of age who are receiving Early Intervention and Pre-Kindergarten Special Education Services. They provide transportation from home to various pre-schools and service providers in the five boroughs, Westchester, and Nassau counties.
