The study is to improve traffic circulation and enhance safety for all road users while addressing community concerns. It is bounded by Clinton Street/Avenue B to the east, Mercer Street to the west, E 5th/E 8th Street to the north and Spring St/Delancey to the south. The study will assess traffic and transportation conditions in the area, identify short and long-term safety improvements. Issues such as land-use, traffic congestion, pedestrian & bike safety, truck activity and accidents will be studied.
