ESL/Family Literacy

Many immigrants face challenges because of limited proficiency in English. Literacy Programs offer a range of services for adults and out-of-school youth 16 years of age and older. Major services include: Adult Basic Education (ABE - basic reading and writing), English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), mathematics, and introduction to computers. Literacy Programs also offer support through job training and readiness, immigration counseling, citizenship/civics preparation classes, and childcare. All services and materials are offered free of charge.
