Health Insurance Options
New York City is unique in that it has five special health insurance options that offer small businesses and working individuals additional choices beyond purchasing insurance through an agent or broker. In response to the need for more information on these choices, the Office of Citywide Health Insurance Access has developed Guide to Health Insurance Options for New York City's Small Businesses, Sole Proprietors, and Working Individuals that provides an overview of these special options. This print Guide also summarizes some of the tips on important items to consider in selecting a health insurance option, which is offered in greater detail on this website.
The Guide, a two-page double-sided document available in six languages, can be downloaded by clicking on the link below. You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 5.1 or higher in order to open the document. For those who do not have Acrobat Reader, a link for Acrobat Reader Version 6.0 can also be downloaded from this page.
