Industry Execs Learn About

November 1, 2005 – On October 19, Katherine Oliver, Commissioner of the New York City Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting, and Pat Kaufman, Executive Director of the New York State Governor’s Office for Motion Picture and Television Development, hosted a dinner for production executives at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood. At the dinner, Commissioner Oliver and Executive Director Kaufman showcased the incentives for shooting in New York City to a group of network and studio representatives.

“Thanks to the ‘Made in NY’ incentive program, we have brought more than $500 million in new production business to the City, creating jobs for more than 6,000 New Yorkers,” Commissioner Oliver said. “This dinner provided another opportunity for us to spread the word to industry decision-makers about the incentives and opportunities for ‘making it in New York.’”
