
November 1, 2005 – On November 19-20, television producers from around the world will gather in New York for the International Academy of Television Arts & Science’s International Emmy World Television Festival. The festival, which will incorporate and expand the 7 year-old iEMMYS festival, will recognize excellence in media and entertainment programming and provide a platform for producers to showcase their work.
“As the largest international organization of broadcasters in the world we are proud to launch our International Emmy World Television festival with the support of the City of New York,” Camille Bidermann-Roizen, Executive Director of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences said. “There is no better place than our city, capital of the world, to host this truly international event on November 19 & 20.”
