MOFTB Draws Filmmakers to Work on World Stage

The Indian film Kal Ho Naa Ho shoots in Union Square

November 1, 2004 - New York City is proud to be the host of film and television shoots from around the world. To assist non-U.S. based individuals and production companies who would like to shoot in New York City, the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting recently developed a Guide for International Productions.

The Guide offers step-by-step information on petitioning for worker status, applying for temporary work visas and bringing equipment into the United States, as well as referrals to government agencies. Click here to view the Guide
