September 1, 2005 - It is more affordable than ever for production companies to do business in New York City, thanks to the “Made in NY” discount card launched by the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting in June. Since the launch, the number of participating vendors offering discounts to the industry on everything from props to post production, has grown to over 300.
