September 1, 2004 - One of the city’s first film festivals returns for its 42nd performance this October!  The New York Film Festival will be presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center from October 1-17, 2004.

The festival will feature a diverse array of films selected from among over 3,000 submissions from around the globe. The festivities will include screenings, retrospectives and other industry events.
