August 1, 2005 – New York City once again has a leading role in the fall 2005 television lineup, with five new television shows as well as an impressive lineup of returning productions. The Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting welcomes:
The Apprentice: Martha Stewart, an NBC reality program that puts contestants in competition for a job with Martha Stewart and premieres in September
The Bedford Diaries, a show about college life in the City, premiering mid-season on the WB network
Book of Daniel, a drama about an Episcopalian minister whose family dramas add honest and comedic moments to his already unpredictable life, premiering mid-season on NBC
Starved, a television show about eating disorders which premieres on F/X on Thursday, August 4 at 10:00 pm
Stella, a Brooklyn-based comedy about three roommates which premiered on Comedy Central on June 29
