August 1, 2004 - Madison Square Garden has been cast as the home of the Republican National Convention (RNC) this summer! As a result, between August 21-September 5, no permits will be issued for production in the immediate vicinity of the venue. The frozen zone will extend from 29th Street to 34th Street between 5th and 10th Avenues.
Contact the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting for advice and information on film-friendly locations in the outer boroughs and alternate areas of Manhattan!
