May 1, 2006- The Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting continues to drive down production costs throughout the City - and at the Moon.

The latest vendors to join the “Made in NY” discount card program, offering reductions of at least ten percent to active film, television, commercial and theatrical productions, include: the Blue Moon Hotel, Abstrakt Figment, Inc., Cassone Leasing Inc., Downtown Auditorium, Dreamhire LLC, Edgewise Media, Elefant Films, Gary's Loft, Inc., Gavroche, Gotham Sound and Communications, Inc., Goblin Lighting Service, Grace Costumes, Inc., Imagelink Productions, L.L. Bistro 33, Mantiques Modern, The Paradise Theatre, Poster Printers, Rhinofx, Rice to Riches, ScreamDVD and Toni Cusumano Casting.

In addition to lowering the cost of production, the program has also been successful in connecting local businesses with the entertainment industry.

"We have been delighted with the new business we have received through the 'Made in NY' discount card," Jehv Gold, President of Manhattan Fruitier said. "The program has led to significant new business."
