Emmys Go To NYC-TV

May 1, 2005 - Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg recently congratulated NYC TV, the official TV network of the City of New York, on winning eight New York Emmy Awards on April 3. NYC TV had been nominated for thirteen New York Emmys, local television’s most coveted peer-recognition award. Over the two previous years, NYC TV was nominated for nine New York Emmy Awards and won two.

“Today, all New Yorkers can take pride in the achievements of NYC TV,” Mayor Bloomberg said. “Not even two years old, the network has already established itself as a valuable resource in our efforts to attract regional tourists, support local businesses, and provide New Yorkers with valuable information about our great city. The eight New York Emmy awards show that NYC TV is also quickly gaining recognition from its peers in the industry as well.”

NYC TV won the following New York Emmy Awards:

Promotional Announcement Station Promo: NYC TV Spring Promo - Roland Le Breton, Producer.
Public Service Announcements: Typecasting - Will Morrison, Producer; Miguel Fernandez, Copywriter.
Camera Documentary: Blueprint | NYC - Stephen Vigilante, Camera Person.
Editor Documentary: Blueprint | NYC - Walter Garaicoa, Editor.
Graphics: Roland Le Breton Composite - Roland Le Breton, Designer. Art Direction/Scene and Set Design: City Drive Live Virtual Studio - Roland Le Breton, Art Director.
