April 1, 2006 – NYC TV’s new television show “Backdrop NYC” is putting the spotlight on the City’s independent filmmakers. The program, which airs on Wednesdays at 9:00 pm on Channel 25 and is hosted by Cat Greenleaf, profiles filmmakers as they “make it in New York,” the largest and important center of independent filmmaking in the United States. The program follows a diverse group of artists from the streets of the City to conference rooms to editing suites, as they tell their stories in the world’s entertainment capital.
