The ladies of "The View"

February 1, 2006 – On February 2, "The View" will celebrate it’s 2000th show “Made in NY”. The daytime television show, which has won 18 Emmy awards and is in its ninth season, features discussions and interviews with figures from news and entertainment, from the point of view of five women of different ages and walks of life.

Also on February 2, Brian Frons, President of ABC Daytime, Bill Geddie, the show’s executive producer, and the ladies of "The View," Barbara Walters (creator, executive producer and co-host), Meredith Vieira, Star Jones Reynolds, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, will join with Katherine Oliver, Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting, to ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange to commemorate the important occasion.

Tune in to the show at 11:00 am EST on ABC on February 2 for the 2,000th show, and on February 3 to see footage from the previous day’s closing bell!
