January 1, 2007 - The Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting's January bus shelter campaign promoted the “Made in NY” film The Good Shepherd. The film - which bears the “Made in NY” mark of distinction in its end credits - was directed and produced by Robert DeNiro, along with producers Jane Rosenthal and James G. Robinson, and stars Matt Damon, Robert DeNiro, Angelina Jolie and Joe Pesci. It traces the history of the CIA.
The bus shelters promoted the film as part of the City's “Made in NY” marketing credit, which provides eligible film and television productions with free advertising to promote their releases, at a value of one percent of their below-the-line budgets.
