Inside Man released in theatres on March 24, 2006. It filmed from June to October 2005, employing 120 NYC cast and crew members, and tells the story of a bank robbery.

Director Spike Lee is a huge presence in the NYC film industry. He has directed and sometimes starred in films shot in the five boroughs including She Hate Me, 25th Hour, Bamboozled, Summer of Sam, He Got Game, Girl 6, Clockers, Crooklyn and Do the Right Thing.

Denzel Washington has appeared in numerous "Made in NY" productions, including The Manchurian Candidate and The Seige. He has worked with Spike Lee in NYC before on He Got Game and Malcolm X.
