The times listed for closures for street fairs are for the actual times of the street fairs themselves. The streets may be closed for longer to allow for set-up and breakdown. Street fair organizers are generally permitted to begin set-up at 8 am and breakdown must be completed by 7 pm.

As part of its citywide traffic improvement program, the New York City Department of Transportation has compiled a list of areas where Street construction or Street events will impede the normal flow of traffic this weekend.

Manhattan

West 10th Street between Washington Street and Greenwich Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 12th Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

East 13th Street between Avenue A and Avenue B

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 15th Street between 10th Avenue and 9th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 26th Street between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday and Sunday from 4 am to 1 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 33rd Street between 10th Avenue and 9th Avenue

This street will be closed 6 am Saturday to 9 pm Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

West 36th Street between 7th Avenue and Broadway

This street will be closed 12:01 am Saturday to 10 pm Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

East 40th Street between 3rd Avenue and Lexington Avenue

This street will be closed 3 am to 1 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

East 41st Street between 3rd Avenue and Lexington Avenue

This street will be closed 3 am to 1 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

West 45th Street between Broadway and 6th Avenue

This street will be closed 1 am to 8 am Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

East 62nd Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 124th Street between Malcolm X Boulevard and Mt. Morris Park West

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 129th Street between St. Clare Place and Broadway

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Leonard Street between Hudson Street and West Broadway

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Leroy Street between West Street and Washington Street

This street will be closed 12:01 am Saturday to 9 pm Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

Cedar Street between Pearl Street and William Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West Street Underpass

The West Street Underpass will be fully closed from 10 pm Friday night to 5 am Saturday morning to facilitate NYCDOT Bridge rehabilitation work. Motorists should follow posted detours.

Trans-Manhattan Expressway (TME) Connector Ramp from George Washington Bridge to Harlem River Drive

One of two lanes in either direction (northbound or southbound) will be intermittently closed from 12:01 am to 10 am Saturday through September 2016 to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges repairs.

FDR Drive (southbound) from 68th Street and 63rd Street

One of three lanes southbound will be closed from 11 pm to 5:30 am Monday to Friday, 12:01 am to 6:30 am Saturday and from 1 am to 11 am Sunday to facilitate long term building construction.

FDR Drive at East 81st Street

One of three lanes in either direction (northbound or southbound) may be closed from 11 pm to 5:30 am Monday to Friday, 12:01 am to 6:30 am Saturday and 1 am to 11 am Sunday. Two of three lanes northbound may be closed from 1 am to 5 am Tuesday to Friday, 2 am to 6 am Saturday and 2 am to 7 am Sunday to facilitate long term NYCDOT pedestrian bridge reconstruction.

Grand Street between Clinton Street and Suffolk Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Staten Island/New Jersey Crossings

Bayonne Bridge

One of two lanes in each direction is open to traffic for PANY/NJ long term navigational clearance project. No oversized or overweight vehicles are permitted. Overnight Bridge closures started January 8th, 2014 and continue through the duration of the project. The closures are: Monday through Thursday from 9 pm to 5 am and Friday midnight to 11:59 pm Saturday. No weekend closures on Sunday and holiday weekends. Weekday full closures are from 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday. During closures, motorists should use the Goethals Bridge as an alternate.
