Safety Around Dogs

While some dogs may be aggressive or ill (call 911), others only become dangerous when provoked. Boys and young men had the highest number of reported bites in NYC. In 2009, 3,600 dog bites were reported to the NYC Health Department. Watch and share the HSUS video "In the Company of Dogs", where some Chicago kids demonstrate good dog/human interactions.
