Negotiated Acquisition for:
Innovative Health Information Exchange System, PIN #81607HA082401R0X00
The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (“Department”), Division of Health Care Access and Improvement, wishes to contract with a qualified vendor to develop an innovative health information exchange with Regional Health Information Organizations (RHIOs) that will improve the health and reduce health care costs for Medicaid recipients, by providing clinicians with enhanced information through the NYSDOH eMedNY system. This program will modify eMedNY, which is the New York State Medicaid Management Information System, to enable real-time responses to structured queries for medication history and eligibility through the eMedNY system, and will operationalize it for a limited number of NYC providers during this period. The Department will negotiate with all qualified suppliers that express interest.
