Forfeited Bail
The District Attorney's Office or the court of the county where the trial is
held may order Finance to forfeit bail. Finance is not informed of the reason
for the bail being forfeited. If you receive a forfeiture letter, you must contact
the court that ordered the forfeiture within 45 days of the date of the letter
to find out why this has occurred.
