2011 Information for Software Developers
The New York City Department of Finance would like to partner with the software industry to encourage electronic filing of New York City General Corporate Tax (GCT) and Unincorporated Business Tax (BCT) returns. This program allows New York City corporations to electronically file both their federal and NYC corporate returns together. We realize the success of this program depends upon the efforts of both the participating software developers and the Department of Finance.
Software Developers
All participants in the NYC program must comply with the procedures, requirements, and specifications as detailed in IRS Publication 3112: IRS e-File Application and Participation, IRS Publication 4164: Modernized e-File Guide for Software Developers and Transmitters as set forth in this handbook.
