EC-1 Energy Cost Budget Worksheet
The EC1 may be used to demonstrate compliance with the Energy Conservation Construction Code of New York State (“ECCCNYS”) for projects that:

1. Require energy modeling using software not available on the New York State Department of State website, and
2. Utilize the Energy Cost Budget Method described in the applicable version of ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1 (per ECCCNYS Chapter 7 or Section 806). In accordance with ECCCNYS Section 101.3.2, this software must be approved by the New York State Department of State and should be entered where called for on the Energy Model Inputs line.
