Mayor's Policy Statement
"The City of New York is an equal opportunity employer. As Mayor, I am strongly committed to having a municipal workforce that reflects the diversity, spirit, talent and dedication of our City's population. When City employees experience discrimination, it threatens the productivity and efficiency of City government. Discrimination is illegal and will not be tolerated."
The Department of Homeless Services’ Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity Affairs (DEOA) is responsible for assisting Commissioner Diamond in implementing the City’s Equal Employment Opportunity policies and standards.
