125th Street Follow-Up Text Amendment:
The follow-up text amendment application includes a zoning text amendment that would reduce the allowed maximum building height and allowed density in the C4-7 district within the Core Subdistrict of the Special 125th Street District. The follow-up application responds to concerns expressed by the community and elected officials throughout the 125th Street Rezoning public review process regarding the allowed maximum height of buildings in this portion of the corridor.

Hudson Yards District/Clinton District Follow-Up Zoning Text Changes:
The follow-up actions include zoning text changes to amend various sections of the Zoning Resolution related to use and bulk regulations, location of subway entrances, transit floor area and procedural and administrative processes for bonus provisions for the Special Hudson Yards District and the 42nd Street Perimeter Area of the Special Clinton District.

East Village / Lower East Side Rezoning:
A proposal to rezone approximately 114 blocks in the East Village and Lower East Side neighborhoods in Manhattan. The objectives of the proposal are to preserve the established neighborhood scale and character with contextual zoning districts and to provide opportunities for housing development and incentives for affordable housing along selected corridors.

Sherman Creek Study:
An interagency team is studying ways to create more opportunities for housing and commercial development, to allow mixed uses in the waterfront area and to provide access to the waterfront. The primary study area is between Dyckman Street, Broadway, West 207th Street and the Harlem River.
|
 |
East River Waterfront Study:
This planning and urban design study proposes short-term improvements and long-term strategies to reconnect Lower Manhattan's diverse communities to a two-mile stretch of East River waterfront. The study area extends from the Battery to the southern edge of East River Park and forms a link between the financial district, the civic center, Chinatown and the Lower East Side.
