Point features representing the approximate within-tax-block locations for tax lots subject to environmental or restrictive declarations. These locations are equivalent to the "E" and "D" markers formerly shown on the DCP zoning map. Declaration designations are indicated in the DECNO attribute.
Purpose:
To be used for GIS analysis and cartographic tasks.
Supplemental Information:
Beginning in January 2011, the E and D symbols represented by this feature class were removed from the DCP zoning maps. We will still include this feature class in the downloadable zoning GIS data for the next few months, as some new features may still be added. At some point in the near future, updates to this feature class will cease and it will be removed from the set of GIS zoning features. For the best information regarding the locations of CEQR environmental requirements ("E" symbols") consult Appendix C of the Zoning Resolution. For restrictive declarations ("D" symbols), consult Appendix D of the Zoning Resolution.

The data were developed using DCP's Tax Block Base Map Files, DOITT's NYCMap planimetric street centerlines and 2006 orthophotos as reference sources. Measurements and dimensions for location of zoning features were obtained from DCP zoning maps. The estimated horizontal accuracy is +/- 20 feet.
