West Harlem Rezoning:
The Department of City Planning is proposing zoning map and zoning text changes for approximately 90 blocks in the West Harlem neighborhoods of Community District 9, Manhattan. The proposed comprehensive rezoning would protect the strongly-established scale and character of West Harlem’s residential neighborhoods, support economic development and new mixed-use in the existing manufacturing district and strengthen the 145th Street corridor, where appropriate, for transit-oriented development and mixed-income residential development.
Bedford-Stuyvesant North:
In response to requests from Brooklyn Community Board 3 and local elected officials, the Department of City Planning is proposing zoning map and text changes for approximately 140 blocks in the northern part of the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood in Brooklyn Community District 3.
