The New York City Department of Consumer Affairs, the New York State Banking Department, and dozens of banking institutions invite you to "BANK ON NEW YORK."

BANK ON NEW YORK encourages New Yorkers to open basic bank accounts as an alternative to high interest loans, money orders, and other expensive options. Participating banks throughout the City use advertising and consumer education in multiple languages to promote low or no-fee bank accounts, and distribute information about the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).
