|  The Youth Financial Empowerment (YFE) program teaches essential financial literacy skills to youth aging out of the foster care system. The program also provides matching funds to contributions made by youth into Individual Development Accounts (IDAs). Program participants in the program will receive matching funds of up to $2,000 by saving $1,000 in the IDA. These savings can be applied to secure and maintain stable housing, to pursue educational opportunities, and to obtain vocational training.
