Program Description
Community-based organizations and stakeholders have access to a large cohort of jobseekers, but lack strong employer connections, and a clear linkage to the public workforce system. 

The Community Partners initiative established Community Partner teams in all the five boroughs and based in each of the city’s seven Workforce1 Career Centers. The teams coordinate appropriate referrals to the public workforce system for job placement services.
