The following tours of City Hall and Tweed Courthouse are available by advance reservation only and are offered free of charge.
- Tour Option 1: City Hall Tour
Tours of City Hall have been suspended through March, 2012 because of extensive rehabilitation work to the building. Please check back for tour information updates. We look forward to your visit.
- Tour Option 2: Tweed Courthouse Tour
Tours of Tweed Courthouse are offered for groups of up to 20 people* on Tuesdays at 10:00 AM and for individuals (1-10 people) on Fridays at 12:00 PM. * Tours cannot accommodate groups larger than 20 people. The suggested minimum age for this tour is 15 years old. The tour is approximately 1 hour and is free of charge. (Please note that Tweed is no longer a courthouse. Today, Tweed is a working office building and home to the Department of Education and a New York City public school.)
Tweed tour dates currently available in February and March, 2012:
- Friday, February 10 at 12:00 PM - individuals (waiting list only)
- Friday, February 24 at 12:00 PM - individuals
- Friday, March 9 at 12:00 PM - indviduals
- Friday, March 30 at 12:00 PM - individuals
Tours for individuals close at 12:00 PM noon two (2) days prior to the tour date and must meet a minimum enrollment.
Please indicate below which tour you are interested in and how many reservations you would like to make. With the exception of school group students, please include the names of all the attendees. Please make sure to include relevant contact information in the event of a late change or cancellation, i.e., local hotel. Your reservation request will be confirmed by an email letter stating the day and time of your tour.
