This year, there are two different kinds of flu vaccine available:
- The seasonal flu shot or spray
- The swine flu shot or nasal spray, also known as the H1N1 vaccine
Your doctor can tell you what vaccine is right for you. If you should get vaccinated and your doctor doesn't have the seasonal or the H1N1 vaccine or you do not have a doctor, you can get vaccinated at a clinic open to the general public.
If you have a reaction to a flu shot, you should report it to the doctor who gave you the shot.
